Aloe Barbadensis
Other names : Aloe Vera , Luhui, Barbados, Cape, Aloes
Aloe Barbadensis Mill(Aloe Vera) is the dried concentrated substance
from the juice of the leaf.
Action : To remove heat from the liver , and to relax the
bowels.
Indication : Constipation ; infantile malnutrition due
to improper feeding and convulsions; internal use for eczema and
ringworm.
Presentation : Aloe Vera, a widely used herbal folk remedy
in America 2, is commonly billed as one of nature’s finest
moisturizers. Other uses of Aloe Vera, externally or internally
applications are from treating hemorrhoids, to insect bites, premenstrual
syndrome (PMS), ringworm, radiation burns, peptic ulcers, diabetes,
boils, asthma, and cough. Traditional herbalist recommend Aloe for
constipation, for liver problems, and to promote, ‘internal
healing’3.

Other names : Apricot Kernels, Apricot Seed, Xing Ren,
Bitter Apricot Seed
Semen Prunus Armeniacae(Apricot Seed ) is the kernel of the edible
golden fruit plucked from the apricot tree.
Action : To relieve cough and asthma, and to relax bowels.
Indication : Cough and Asthma accompanied by stuffiness
in the chest and profuse expectoration; constipation due to deficiency
of blood and fluid.
Presentation : Apricot seed contains an extract called
laetrile, which is promoted as an anti-carcinogenic. In Traditional
Chinese Medicine, it is used to treat cough, congestion, asthma,
tumours, constipation, and other disorders.
